Paul Henry Brickley, 1937 Class of 1937 Pittsburgh, Pa. Private, Infantry, U.S. Army In Action; Luzon; February 8, 1945
Pittburgh, Pa. Clearing away the dust and grime from his eyes (left there by the "Smoky City"), our friend was somewhat bewildered by the bright Shenandoah landscapes. Acclimating himself to this new environmnet, "Brick" opened his eyes to the host of opportunities that were being presented. Quickly taking the first, he proved to be of no little value on the varsity football team. When intramural basketball season rolled around, we all wondered who that "blue marvel" who was making all those shots could be. Lo and behold, at the end of the game it turned out to be "Brick"! After basketball, instead of his fancy turning to love, as is natural for a young man in the spring, "Brick's" interests turned to track, and it was fortunate for Massanutten that they did. In academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities, "Brick" showed himeself to be a typical M.M.A. Cadet. Adjutant 1937
