MMAAA Lost and

International Alumni
Then & Now
Please Note: If you are looking for a
friend that was an undergraduate and are having difficulty, we are in the
process of updating Memberclicks On Line Directory to reflect the year any
undergraduate would have graduated. Until then, search the name of the
Undergraduate you wish to find.
We are continually looking for those Alums that
have lost touch with the Alumni Association as well as their classmates.
Please help us accomplish our goal of locating each and every Alum!
Below is an e-mail from Jamie Brugueras '68 sent
to us following a note from Gino in an E-Net Newsletter. Thanks to Jaime
for taking the time to pass this information on to us!
Gino:
Just read your last mailing, where you include my last reply to you and mention
a number Latin American cadets that attended MMA from 64 to 68. That brought a
lot of memories from those days. I particularly remember that in those days we
could not go home for the Thanksgiving brake, so we all stayed at hotels in D.C.
Imagine, being 15, 16 or 17 and spending 4 days in a hotel in Washington, doing
whatever you felt like doing. In those days! Those experiences, which I had for
4 years, certainly helped me mature a lot.
Punta Cana would be a great place to celebrate some kind of reunion. It’s a
beautiful resort town, with literally hundreds of hotels, white sand beaches and
excellent prices for packages, which are mostly in “all inclusive” resorts. Just
to give you an idea, during the summer months you can get packages, for a 4 -5
days stay, with all meals, all you can drink and air fare included in the $350 -
$400 range, from Puerto Rico. I am pretty sure the same or very similar fares
apply to Florida.
